LAST MINUTE NOTES: On Friday April 12 1 pm all staff will be setting up on site. There still is space in the class.
For fishing, Party Boat is still available. Sport Fishing is waitlisted but there is a good chance we can put you on a boat. If registering after Friday 1 pm, go ahead and sign up/pay for fishing. If we don’t have enough to fill the next boat we will refund you or give you the option to go on the Party Boat and refund the difference.
For last minute reservations, we may not be able to email a confirmation but will have it for you on site, either at the party or Saturday am. The address for I.T. Parker in Dania Beach is 901 NE 3rd St., Dania Beach, FL, 33004. It’s in Harbour Towne Marina, follow the I.T. Parker signs and wind around until you see the banners and the 2410 Bay Ranger in front of the building. Come join us!

Capt. Lee Lavery will help you learn about the equipment, rods, reels, tackle, what it is and how to use. She leads the chapter and sets a great role model! John Drouet of momoi and Diamond Fishing Line will share cool fishing tips. You’ll enjoy his humor – he fishes all over the world andwill also be showing some cutting edge knots! Twig Tolle is back, you’ll love his simple descriptions of how to fish! He’s a serious fish head and easy to to learn from!

6:30-8:30 pm: Welcome Reception and Networking! Sponsored by Harbor Financial Services, the South Florida “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” Chapter and Cabot Cheese! Master Chef Potluck Contest, Bring an Appetizer! “Handy Tips for keeping your boat and other household items looking good” – Bill Lindsey, Starbrite. Raffle and beginning of Silent Auction. Open to the Public, men welcome. Mingle with the captains & sponsors and meet the other ladies fishing on your boat!

Room B: 10:00 – 11:00 am: Inshore Fishing – Twig Tolle (Choose one or the other)

Room A: 11:00 – Noon: Deepwater and Bottom Fishing – John Drouet
12:00 – 1: 00 pm: Pollo Tropical Lunch, Fishing Fashion Show, Reeling against a human fish, demonstrated by Betty Bauman
1 – 1:10 pm: Class Photo – Meet for a photo of our entire group!
1:10 – 3:30 or 4:00 pm – Fly Fishing demo and indoor/outdoor skill stations:
1:10 – 1:25 pm: Flyfishing Demonstration – Twig Tolle
Skill stations/one on one practice includes knot tying, spin casting, net casting, lure usage, ballyhoo rigging, dehooking, venting and conservation, boat handling, trailer backing, gaffing grapefruits, how to use tackle and rod/reel repair and maintenance!
3:30 or 4 pm: Auction, raffle and final announcements

Fishing Rates (Optional/additional, Rates are per person. Coming alone? Don’t worry, no need to fill the boat, we do it for you!):
$45 Fishing from Party Boat (8:30am-12:30 pm, $5 gratuity not incl.) Bottom fish for grouper and snapper, perhaps mackerel! Includes use of rod/reel.
$135 Offshore Sportfishing Boat (1/2 day approx. 8 am – noon), gratuity not incl., 6 persons/per boat) Fish for sailfish, kingfish, wahoo, dolphin and more! In a half day you can get right out into the Gulf Stream and return with fish!
