Friday, May 16: Come by and preview the auction, informal Meet and Greet, 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Pirates Cove Resort & Marina! Pick up a drink (cash bar at the bar), order something off the menu and check out the silent auction. Mini Raffle (we will write your number on the board so you can check out your winnings). Complimentary entry for registrants. Bring Spouses & Guests!
Sat. May 17
8:30 am – Classroom presentations on offshore, bottom, inshore and fly fishing and basics of the rod and reel, followed by lunch (additional, on your own) and hands-on fishing skills until approx. 4 pm at Pirates Cove Resort & Marina! Fishing skills may include dehooking without touching fish, Inshore lures by Mark Nichols the man behind famous DOA lures, Pete Biloardello from 4 Reel on how to maintain reels and rods, knot tying, net casting, reel casting, gaffing grapefruits, trailer backing with Magic Tilt Trailers, boat handling with Ranger Boats, lure and ballyhoo rigging with Capt. George Mittler, fly casting and possibly gaffing grapefruits. Work one -on -one with the pros, this is YOUR chance to get close to them and learn. Then…Raffle and conclusion of silent auction just afterwards. Due to popular demand, we are offering 3 lunch choices including beverage and gratuity (see registration) or you can order whatever you want on your own. The restaurant has some delicious dishes!

Fishing Adventure, optional and additional. See rates on Registration Form. Followed by fish fillet demonstration. It’s Mother’s Day and you will have time for your family activities afterwards!

$55 Fishing from Party Boat Per Person (8:30am-2:30 pm) Bottom fish for grouper and snapper, perhaps mackerel! Includes FREE use of rod/reel.
$145 Inshore/River Fishing Boat Per Person 7:30 am – 12:30 pm Takes 2-4 people. Fish the beautiful river or near the beaches for snook, trout, redfish, snapper, perhaps even tarpon or cobia! Includes FREE use of rod/reel.
$150 Offshore Sportfishing Boat Per Person (approx. 7 am – 12:30 pm), gratuity not incl., 6 persons/per boat) Fish for sailfish, kingfish, mackerel, wahoo, dolphin and more! You might also go fishing for grouper and snapper! Includes FREE use of rod/reel.
