LLGF Fishing Report: 3/21/2004

* Sand Bob/Capt. Joe Kaine: "We ALL caught kingfish - What a great time!"
exclaimed Linda Walters from Coconut Creek, FL. This was Linda's first time fishing and she was thrilled. "This is the best thing I have EVER done! Now I can REALLY use my boat," she declared.

FoxSea: The women had a good time, learned how to use a planer and caught and released two kingfish. Sarah MacRrae came all the way from Bloomington, MN to enjoy the weekend filled with learning and adventure.

Happy Day Today: The ladies learned how to catch bait, use outriggers and downriggers, tie new knots and think like a fish! Laura Boryk, from Coral Springs, FL caught and released her first sailfish. "This was so exciting!
You get hooked on fishing when you catch something like that," exuded Laura.
Susan Foley, Ft. Lauderdale, FL caught a kingfish.

* Double Duty Dusky/John Murray: Participants learned all about outriggers, flat lining, sea conditions, seaweed, using the Lowrance sonar and marine charting.
Mary B III: These gals loved the good weather and making new friends while reeling in two king mackeral, triggerfish and a remora!

* Double Up/Capt. Norm Welter: This was the first time fishing for these ladies from Key West, Ft. Lauderdale and Illinois. They caught kingfish and vermilion snapper. They caught the kingfish on live bait, then moved to a deep wreck site and caught snappers on a chicken rig w/bonita. They moved to another wreck and almost got something "VERY big!"
